From Houston Magazine, May 1950:

Features of this building include monumental aluminum type windows and stone flower boxes around the entrance. The boxes will recess back to a glass wall with solid glass doors. The lobby will have terrazzo floors and monumental stairs to the second floor, which is of shell stone. The lower floor is Colorado red ledgestone. Recessed lighting and air-conditioning will also be installed.
