The Ranger Motel, on the Old Spanish Trail, near Almeda Road, is a 22-unit, ranch-type “Hotel for Motorists,” furnished in western style, offering such hotel facilities as full-tile showers, air conditioning and telephone service. Besides the service of a hotel, there is a carport for each unit. Good restaurants are to be found nearby. It’s a ten-minute drive to the heart of the City. The Ranger is owned and operated by Michael J. DeGeorge, who has utilized his experience in the hotel business in developing one of Houston’s better motels.
