Gordon Jewelry Co. – Houston

416 Main St. – Houston TX (build date unknown)

This small building between the State National Bank Building and Byrd’s Department Store was once the Cabinet Bar but for most of its life, it was Gordon Jewelry Company. During World War II, I.L. Miller, husband of founder Meyer Gordon’s daughter, helped run the stores. At 416 Main, you can still see part of the Miller inlay at the entry.
