| Notes | The Houston Independent School District Board of Education voted on September 12, 2013 to demolish and replace Delmar Field House (HISD article). It was built in 1958 and designed by architect Milton McGinty. According to the Board of Education, the building was “in poor condition with major roof leaks, flooding problems in the locker rooms and a sports medicine area that falls short of athletic league standards.” An unfortunate victim of neglect, September 24th marked the last event at the field house, and demolition began early 2014. |
