The Kerstings Building, most commonly known as the Londale Hotel (c. 1950s-present) is the oldest hotel/boarding house in Houston. Prior to the Londale, the second and third floors of this building were the Moore Hotel in the 1930s-1940s, the Majestic Hotel from about 1915 to the late 1920s, and the Vendome Hotel from about 1911-1914. Before that it was advertised as a boarding house and had the showroom for Standard Auto Co. and Houston Motor Car Co. on the ground floor.
