The dinette area of the kitchen is paneled for four feet and over this is a gay wallpaper called ‘Fireside Cookbook.’ The wallpaper rates as a first-class conversation piece. It depicts early American cooking scenes in quaint and humorous style.

The housewife, in serving her folks meals, has her choice between a separate dining room for the big-scale dining, or a help yourself service bar dividing the kitchen from the breakfast room for informal eating.

Looking back for a moment for Early American touches: two carriage lamps are on each side of the front door, there are tall wooden shutters and columns, small-paned colonial windows. These give a hint of the interior touches such as maple-stained birch to blend with the Rock Maple furniture.
