| Notes | The undulated barrel vault roof of Safeway’s iconic “Marina” style was still prominent, even though the floor-to-ceiling windows had been covered, among other alterations over the years. This was a modified design of the original “Marina” store (1959), which is still in operation today. This appeared to be Austin’s last standing Safeway of this design, and it was demolished in 2019 to make way for apartments. |
