This Googie-roofed restaurant still sits near the intersection of 290 East and I-35 in Austin, and is reminiscent of Paul William&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/arch-ive.org\/archive\/la-concha\/\">La Concha Motel<\/a> in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, its floor to roof glass windows were removed and replaced with smaller, standard ones. In 2019, the restaurant received a more lively repainting, making it one of Austin&#8217;s last and best roadside
